Golang Job: Early Career Software Engineer - C++ | R&D

'New software engineering opening for an overachieving, early to mid-career C++ software engineer with one of Australia's most successful technology companies. This award-winning, ASX listed group needs a talented software engineer with existing commercial experience (around 2-5 years) to work in a specialist R&D team researching and prototyping new products, features and technologies.

Essential:

• A computer science degree
• A record of high academic achievement
• Commercial C++ experience
• Good knowledge of Linux (Windows or macOS also helpful)
• Experience with network programming (TCP/IP, sockets, streaming etc.)

• Agile, TDD or CI/CD experience
• Excellent organisational and communication skills

Optional:

• Linux internals
• Cmake
• Golang, Rust

• Cloud technologies
• Scripting experience e.g. Python

• Exposure to hardware or embedded systems
